Canvas background demo

ET's Kevin Frazier hops on board and visits the set of "NCIS" to help solve the mystery surrounding the death of a Marine who lived a double life. Are either of the man's two wives connected with his death?

Mark Harmon (Special Agent Jethro Gibbs) explained that both wives showed up once the Marine was found dead. "There's a lot of different issues here and a lot of different stories and different directions and, as always here, at the end it's not what you thought it was going to be at the beginning," Harmon teased with suspense.

Adding to the complication, the investigators discovered that the deceased Marine went by two different names to live out his double identity. Michael Weatherly (Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo) said, "Tony, my character, has a lot of fun extrapolating on what these wives are saying and trying to find some meaning."

Watch the video to see some behind the scenes action as they filmed the episode dubbed "Double Identity," airing tonight on CBS.

Whoops. Double posts, & you did yours 1st. Perhaps that is ironic, no? Anyway, noticed that Michael is excited, so this should (hopefully) be a good one.

Thanks for the article and vid. To the 2 of you !

I hope the episode will be funnier that what is seems from the story, the trailer, and the preview. It seems like a very normal episode, I hope the investigation will be great!

Jonih59's Rule Number 5: Never put too much stock in previews.

I totally agree with Jonih59's Rule Number 5! I also like that MW is always having fun no matter how the episode story is.

One of the reasons I love NCIS is Tony's humor. Hopefully tonight's episode has of Tony' silly remarks. Maybe even a Gibbs' slap might be added to make it seem like old times..

This looks like it could be a fun one and a more traditional procedural-style episode. One of the things I think they've done better this season is mixing the heavier character-driven episodes with the lighter more traditional ones. I happen to like both. I know there are those who disagree with me, but I don't want all of one or all of the other and I like them alternating. I thought season 6 put too many of the character episodes back to back with each other so I'm glad this season that they are just kind of interspersing them here and there.
